This morning I discovered the secret to looking like an adult- lipstick and heels. This may be a well known fact to other people in the world, but I honestly had no idea. I wear heels maybe once a month and I haven't worn lipstick since... well I've pretty much never worn it. Anyways, from this newly found fact I have composed the following rules:
1. wear lipstick and heels in social situations in which I don't wish to be mistaken for a seventeen year old
2. wear the usual Toms and Carmex when I'm feeling old and crusty because I'm not in school anymore
Problem solved.
go check out bobbie brown lip sticks, they are my new obsession. Also, did you know the perfect lip stick is only one shade darker than the natural color of your lips. So match to a lip stick your exact same color, then choose the shade directly one step down! done and done!
ReplyDeletelipstick is so hard for me to wear because i DO feel like an adult when i have it on. ugh. i guess me being 32 is hard for me to accept. maybe a little.
